Women’s Health/Family Planning/STD Testing

Despite education and contraception readily available, half of all pregnancies in the United States are unintended.  Many of these pregnancies are to girls under 18 years of age.  Elbert County Public Health provides confidential family planning services, which help prevent unintended pregnancies and sexually transmitted diseases.

We provide services to adults and teens.  Services include annual pelvic health exams, birth control counseling, contraceptive supplies, pregnancy tests, and screening for sexually transmitted infections Chlamydia and gonorrhea.

We are a Title X funded clinic which means we are funded by Federal, State, and County dollars to provide Family Planning Services.  Anyone may utilize our services, but preference will be given to those with low incomes.  We utilize a sliding fee scale dependent on income.  Many women pay nothing at all for services and supplies.  Our fees are very low, but our expenses are high so we gladly accept donations!

Please call us at 303-621-3144 for more information and to make an appointment.
